The transformer is a static and efficient machine based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The transformer is a bilateral device and its use mainly to transfer power at same frequency. It is also used in measurement. The current purposed cross-transformer is basically a five limb, one input and four output terminals. It is used to transfer the power at multiple output at multiple voltage levels at same frequency. There are many devices which worked in a reduced voltage hence this transformer is used to operate multiple devices at the same time at different/same voltage levels. In the current design the core is form using U, E, I types of stamping having 0.55mm thickness. This transformer is of I KVA capacity worked at 50 Hz supply. This rating further reduced at the output to 250VA while dividing the power into four output winding wound on four different limbs. The central limb is the input limb having bigger cores section area among other four output limbs. This reduced output may be used to operate four devices at the same time which is the prime objective of the cross-transformer.
